The health and safety of everyone are our concerns and main goal. The following protocols will be carried out indefinitely in addition to our standard OHSA-compliant infection control procedures:

  • Pre-appointment confirmation calls to assess any changes in your health

  • Mask requirements: All patients are required to wear a mask while in office. If you do not have one, we will provide you with a disposable mask.

  • Hand sanitizer to be used by all patients when entering office.

  • Temperature checks: All patients are checked for fever with our infrared touchless thermometer.

  • COVID-19 health questionnaire and interview: completed with front desk upon arrival.

  • New scheduling protocols:  Each appointment is given an extra 10 minutes to allow proper disinfection and to adhere to the social-distancing rules. Patients are scheduled to minimize office crowding.

  • Writing pen: Patients may bring a pen if they wish or use and keep our complimentary personalized ones.

  • Virtual consults: Dr. Taira will follow up and post-op via phone as usual. If you have any concerns, you can always call our office. Emergency exams may also be performed by video chat.

  • If you are sick and do not feel well, please inform the office immediately
